UWA Institute of Advanced Studies

The Institute of Advanced Studies arranges free lectures by prominent local, national and international speakers that can be attended by members of the public. We also host regular masterclasses by leading Australian and visiting scholars who discuss their own research and broader topics of interest with postgraduate students and early-career researchers.

Other regular IAS activities include hosting conversations, symposia, roundtables and workshops with distinguished visitors for academic staff from various departments.
